Aged over six months in steel tanks. A 100% Private Reserve Primitivo grape grown and harvested by a 130 year-old family owned vineyard in Puglia, Italy. Similar to the California Zinfandel, this Primitivo has a soft velvety sweetness on the account of the grapes being harvested early in the season thus acquiring the name Primitivo.

 

On the palate, it is smooth and delicious, with a seductive hint of sweet cinnamon.

 

This Primitivo is medium body with a bouquet of red cherry and raspberry.
